In the bulletin "UV Decontamination in Healthcare Facilities" published by SWISSNOSO (National Center for Infection Prevention) on November 08, 2021, it has been stated how efficient and effective the UV-C disinfection method is, especially in healthcare facilities.
In partnership with the two companies ICA and OMRON, we introduce you to the new benchmark for the hygiene challenges of our time:
Whether in hospitals or in other highly sensitive areas: The HERO21 provides the highest level of disinfection performance and thus offers optimal protection. When first disinfecting contaminated rooms, the cleaning staff who normally work in the front line are exposed to a far lower risk of infection.
The HERO21 moves completely autonomously through the rooms to be disinfected. It can drive an elevator and moves elegantly in narrow wet rooms. If the robot is switched on, you can drive it into the contaminated rooms via the app on the tablet without having to enter them yourself. The HERO21 scans and saves all room data. Its special sensor system detects whether someone is still in the room. In this case, the robot does not activate itself, but sends a hazard message to the mobile device. During the disinfection process, too, its sensors notice whether a person is opening the door, for example - and switch off the UV-C unit.
Only specially produced UV-C lamps are used for the HERO21, which were able to convince in the efficiency test in the laboratory against conventional lamps, and have an extremely long overall service life. The HERO21 achieves a disinfection level of 99.99% with 360 degree coverage. In addition, the HERO21 has a very long operating time: after a short preheating phase, it disinfects continuously for up to 1.5 hours. This performance is equivalent to about 14 rooms (25 square meters in 5-10 minutes). After only four hours of charging, the HERO21 is available again. All analyses for this are carried out in certified laboratories.
UV-C radiation is electromagnetic radiation in the wavelength range from 280 to 100 nanometers. It penetrates particularly strongly to the genetic material of bacteria, fungi or even viruses and damages their DNA or RNA. Read more about this in the blog post "UV Lamps against Corona".
In just 1.5 hours, the first HERO21 is set up in your room and you can get started. Due to our partnership with OMRON (various robots), we can offer you flexible fleet management that can be changed and increased at any time. In the future, this can mean for you, for example, that you serve food or coffee in the cafeteria by robot, medications are distributed elsewhere, at the same time disinfection is carried out in the waiting area and you can control all this centrally via the same fleet management.
And by the way, our HERO21 disinfects wet cells and small passages within a few minutes. Scanning (mapping) also simply works professionally (drive through the rooms once or read in the floor plan data, copy, expand...), quickly and reliably.
